Allows students to explore pedagogical tools and methods in the history of art and archaeology, with a goal to improving their work as teachers in the field. Topics frequently covered, on a rotating basis, include course- and syllabus-design, classroom activity planning, planning and delivering lectures, teaching visual analysis, responding to writing, and fostering an inclusive and equitable classroom. The class is recommended for students who will serve as a TA and have taken the university's and the department's introductory TA training workshops.
