Advance to Candidacy: In addition to satisfactory completion of course requirements, students must pass an oral exam, as well as successfully defend a research proposal.
Post-Candidacy: Students complete at least 12 credits of GEOL899 Doctoral Dissertation Research as well as successfully defend and submit an original dissertation.
