Program Overview
Designed for working professionals, the Graduate Certificate in Health Data Analysis emphasizes foundational statistical methods and analytical skills through a 12-credit (4-course) curriculum. This program focuses on understanding and utilizing practical applications of biostatistics to manage and analyze health data as well as communicate findings to a wide audience. Instruction is provided by university faculty and experts in the field. No prior experience with computer programming or public health is required.
The program uses the semester academic calendar with classes held during fall and spring semesters (16 weeks each) and Summer Sessions (two 6-week sessions).

Program-specific requirements
- Applicants to the Health Data Analysis certificate program must have completed all of the requirements for a baccalaureate degree prior to their acceptance into the program, with particular emphasis on applicants’ data analytics background
