ABSTRACT
The Special Education Online Master's Degree (without Certification) with Specialty Area focus prepares scholars to serve as excellent teachers, administrators, and leaders in the field of special education and related fields. This fully online M.Ed. 30-credit degree program provides cutting-edge research and knowledge most essential for professionals today. Graduate students proceed through courses as a cohort in a chosen specialty area in special education over the course of the degree program. The online program is delivered by skilled faculty in well-designed courses. The Special Education Program at the University of Maryland has consistently been rated as one of the top15 graduate programs in Special Education in the Country (since 2000).
