The LGBTQ+ Equity Center (or Equity Center) builds an inclusive, supportive, and vibrant campus community that centers belonging through programs, events, resources, and educational opportunities for people of all gender identities and expressions, sexes, and sexual orientations. The Equity Center serves University of Maryland students, staff, faculty, and alumni of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Over the years, our signature programs have become hallmark campus experiences for all students, faculty, and staff, including Quelcome, Lavender Celebration of Graduates, the Big Queer Photo, and our national award-winning Lavender Leadership Honor Society.
